I am WAY to talented at hurting myself. So, like I said, I was cleaning up my room today. A pin fell on the floor, and I didn't notice. I'm talking one of those pins that is basically a pushpin that when wearing sticks into a little metal thing on the other side of the fabric. It has the sharp part pointing up. So there's this little sharp spike between a quarted inch and half an inch long. And I step on it. Hard. So that it embeds itself fully into my foot. I pull it out, put on the antibiotic ointment stuff and a bandaid. No big, right?

Well, it hurts. No, let me try that again. It hurts. No, still not right.
It HURTS.
So, yeah. I'm talented, aren't I?

Very ouch. I mean, I've walked face first into light poles on accident, but that's gotta suck.

I've walked face first into glass doors. Bloody nose both times. This might be worse. >.

It might be a bit late for this now, but for future reference, you NEED to rinse puncture wounds. Thoroughly. A topical antibiotic is good and probably enough if the pushpin wasn't rusty/grimy, but puncture wounds have deep, narrow wound channels, and what cleans the top may leave the bottom to become infected. And if you already knew this, then forgive me for taking up space on your comments. Hope the next fifteen or so Friends entries I still have left to read include one from you saying that you feel better!

I've felt better for a long whiles, though I don't recall whether or not I said so already. So if I repeat, ignore me.
