May. 16th, 2007 06:25 pmNu, so my computer's in the shop, which mean I now have my daddy's big clunky spare. Better than nothing, I suppose.
Well, in any case, I need advice. I'm looking to buy a good but affordable portable GPS system. This will be crucial for driving around Mass and Albany. But I'm dealing with a college student's budget, and I don't know yet what my job will be like. Any suggestions from anyone who has a system or knows anything about them?
Edit: When I say affordable, I mean the cheapest I can get one for. I'm quite aware they're expensive, I'm just looking for least so, that still does a decent job

May. 16th, 2007 08:40 pmSo, I'm sad because I couldn't rent any Dr. Who. I really really want to watch the ninth season, I think it is.
On the plus side, I did manage to find the wonderfulness of "Firefly: the Official Companion, Volume 2." And even better, I managed to get my hands on Evil Dead: The Musical, which I've fallen in love with thanks to
usernamenumber. It's amazing. It really really is. Next time there's karaoke, hopefully we'll have our own mix, and I can sing "Housewares Employee" with
usernamenumber. I also want to get to sing "All the Men in My Life Keep Getting Killed By Candarian Demons." Oh, and "That's Your Funeral" (from Oliver) with
electric_d_monk.
But yeah, this is an amazing musical. You should listen to it, especially if you've seen the movie.
