kamianyaSo we're cleaning to help start getting our house ready for moving. This means going through the things I've had for years and years and picking what to keep, what to give to charity, and what to throw out.
I've never managed this before. It's always been to hard to cut emotional ties. But now, I'm looking at what I've gone through so far, how much is being given away (a bit, though not much), how much is on the "not sure" pile (don't know whether to throw away or give away) which is growing steadily, and how much I'm keeping. Almost nothing.
It's really weird, to realize how much of my life I'm managing to detach from. Never managed it before. I know my parents would probably say it has something to do with me being in college now, and forming all new attachments and such. And I'm starting to think they're right. It's weird.....
And on a completely different note, it's the first Billy and Mandy! Fun!!!
