May. 29th, 2007 06:29 pmSo, some of you may remember how when planning the karaoke thing I was so sure something was going to go wrong.
Tonight's dinner is a perfect example of why. I tried to plan this so there'd be plenty of time for people to clear schedules and get back to me if something went wrong so we could reschedule.
Last night we found out my friend Marnina couldn't come, since her brother has a piano recital she didn't know was tonight. Great, that was one person, and someone else got invited. I had lunch with her and two others instead.
But now at 6:20 the person who was gonna drive us called to say she couldn't. This is about 25 minutes before she should have started driving. I'm really glad we invited the one more person, because otherwise we'd be down to 3 and it might not be quite worth it. But things like this happen all the time when I try to plan. last minute cancelations, last minute.
Well, time to go pick my friend up. Write more later.
