Apparently our teacher just flipped us all off. I was looking down at the time, so I didn't see it, but Gordon (who sits next to me) did. I mean, I believe it was an accident, but still...

If I were a teacher, I'd constantly use my middle finger to point to things on the board. It's a sutle way of showing who'se boss.

Yes, but then ze students would complain to whatever authority (parents, school admins, etc) and make things a pain in the ass.

Plus most people in college don't care. And Substitute teachers back in HS did it all the time.
